Mission Statement

The Canadian Chapter of the World Assembly of Indigenous Judges is dedicated to advancing the full and meaningful participation of Indigenous judges within Canada’s justice system. We champion the integration of Indigenous legal traditions, knowledge, and perspectives into judicial practice, fostering a justice system that is equitable, culturally grounded, and reflective of the diverse peoples it serves.
Through education, advocacy, and international solidarity, we work to uphold the rights of Indigenous peoples and strengthen the rule of law for all.
