2nd Conference of the World Assembly of Indigenous Judges — Coming to Kamloops in 2028

We are pleased to announce that the 2nd Conference of the World Assembly of Indigenous Judges will convene April 24–28, 2028, in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. Situated on the traditional and unceded territory of the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc, Kamloops is a fitting and meaningful host for this landmark gathering, a place where Indigenous governance, culture, and resilience have deep roots stretching back thousands of years. The World Assembly of Indigenous Judges brings together judicial leaders, legal practitioners, scholars, and advocates from Indigenous communities around the globe to share knowledge, strengthen relationships, and advance the role of Indigenous peoples within justice systems worldwide.
